Before I continue the tale from Barcelona, I thought I would post a taste of things to come. I have an awful lot of pictures, and uploading takes time, so patience by the readership is appreciated.
The dig was a great deal of fun. The most spectacular find sizewise was on the last day -- a nearly complete deer skeleton was found. We also found some somewhat significant mouse teeth too -- these are *hard* to find, lots of sifting through mostly-uniform white stone.
Anyway, pictures below are of a carnivore's femur, we think. And me working on extracting it.
And now to return to the interrupted story...
